REVIVAL PRAYER MEETING – 7.30pm THURSDAY 21st AUGUST 2008 in the BEACH BALLROOM, ABERDEEN Hi Folks….I trust you are all well and greatly blessed. These are amazing days that we are living in as all over Scotland, expectation of a mighty move of God is growing and an excitement developing as the ‘Church’ realises that our magnificent supernatural God is ready to move in a supernatural way in our NE towns and cities, in this time and for this generation. Already, a number of churches are seeing numbers of people healed and saved and the prophetic voice is calling for the rest of the ‘Church’ to step into what God has for us. The very powerful ‘word’ that Brent Borthwick brought over these last few weeks was of our God, ready to pour out His Spirit in the nation in Revival power and that NOW is our time to seek Him and all that He is about to do in our lives. Many people have heard this word and many still have to hear it, but in speaking to a number of pastors over the last 2 days, none of whom have heard Brent’s message, they have ALL confirmed that God has been speaking to their churches in many different ways over the last few months, and that their expectation of Revival is huge. There has never been a time in Scotland where the truth of 2 Chronicles 7 v 14 was so relevant. ‘If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.’ All of a sudden, in the light of what we sense God is saying and doing, it seems as if we understand the meaning of this scripture more clearly and the responsibility that is on us if we want to move forward in the promise of God. Since the Brent Borthwick meeting and the subsequent ‘word’ that Lorraine Hawick from Sheddocksley brought, (will be covered at Ballroom meeting), there has been a real desire amongst many of the people of God to come together in repentance and to seek the heart of God for the North East of Scotland. This has been shared with a number of pastors, both in the city and throughout the North East and will be shared with many more. So far there has been unanimous agreement that the way forward is for the ‘Church’ to come together on Thursday, in the Ballroom, to worship our awesome God, to repent on our knees before Him and to cry out to Him for the mighty move of God that we are all in faith for. This has been arranged, at very short notice, for this coming week to tie in with part of the message that Brent brought and already we have a number of city churches who will be there and also a number coming from the North East. We will be trying to contact as many of the other pastors who we have not been able to reach tomorrow and invite any of them to get back to me with any questions they may have. THERE IS NO AGENDA OTHER THAN TO HUMBLE OURSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK OUR GOD FOR OUR TOWNS, OUR CITY AND OUR LAND!! I believe that God is speaking to each one of us about the coming revival and I would ask that you come on Thursday and that you pass on the details of this to as many people as possible. I am looking for the Ballroom to be packed out and for our God to see that we are desperate to be a part of what He is about to do. We have been called to lead the way in the nation and God does not make mistakes. Please let me know if you will be there!!
