Weekly Programme Fraserburgh Community Church is involved in serving the Community 7-days-a-week. Below is a taste of the various forms of ministry that goes on…Sunday to Saturday! Sunday, 10.30am - Morning Worship & Community Kids A service for all ages - featuring lively praise and worship, prayer, communion and Bible teaching. Community Kids, for 3 to 11 year olds, takes place downstairs during the latter part of the Worship Service. A crèche is also available for parents with under 3's. Sunday, 6.00pm - Evening Celebration & Ministry Usually a shorter service, but again incorporating exciting music and singing, life stories, preaching and also opportunities for personal response and prayer ministry. Every week, light refreshments are served at the end of the night - though once a month features a feast night - our 'Bring & Share', when all the Church members bring enough food for themselves and others! Monday, 1.30pm to 2.30pm - Mothers & Toddlers Ruth Dunbar, Elizabeth Ritchie and their team see the Church building packed out with Mums and pre-schoolers, where, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, parents from across the community chat over a cuppa while the toddlers have a great time playing with the wealth of toys and activities around the hall. There's even time for a 'singing circle' before home-time! Monday, 4.00pm - 7.00pm - Radi8 Dance Classes Radi8 Dance Classes are open to Primary & Academy school ages and upwards, with expert instruction from Miriam Morgan, PHP & Schools Dance Tutor. Energetic and powerful dance - this training in creative arts is not for the faint-hearted! Radi8 recently danced at The Gathering MAX, a national youth event at the NEC, Birmingham, in front of an audience of over 7000 people. Monday, 7.00pm to 9.30pm (bi-weekly) - Underground Youth Night Led by Miriam Patterson & the Youth Team. Underground has a variety of activities tailored to the lives of young people in their final year of Primary School and Academy age upwards. A large group of teenagers meet up for some fun! Wednesday, 11.00am to 2.00pm - Lunches The Lunches are open to all, and usually sees around 300 people of all ages eating throughout the opening hours. A hard-working Team, led by Chris Patterson, prepare and serve the community with a variety of soup and sweets, toasties and sandwiches, chocs, teas and coffees - all for incredibly reasonable prices! Thursday, 7.00 to 9.00pm - HouseGroups Meeting in Davy & Mary Ritchie's home. An informal evening of fellowship, teaching, prayer and refreshments. Friday, 6.00pm to 8.00pm - Power House Kids Club (Fraserburgh) PHKC is one of the biggest children's clubs in churches in the UK, and is headed up Children's and Youth Pastor, Rev. David Ritchie, who also leads Serious4Kids, Elim's National Children's Ministry. Over 200 Primary School-aged children, with around 40 leaders and junior leaders, play their part in a night of intense fun, laughter, song, games, teaching, prizes etc. Friday, 6.30pm to 7.50pm - Power House Kids Club (Crimond) Power House has recently expanded and burst onto the scene at a new, additional venue - Crimond Primary school. In addition to the Kids Club still running in back in Fraserburgh, seven miles away, a team of leaders now runs a programme of fun, laughter, songs, games, teaching, prizes etc for all local primary school-aged children from the Crimond area. Friday, 9.15pm - Connect "These meetings are a chance to connect with God, Connect with each other, and connect with the community. A chance for great spiritual teaching with guest speakers each week, live worship and intimacy with the Lord. We want to raise the youth to be filled with God's Holy Spirit and make a difference in their worlds." Saturday (once a month), 10.00am to 12.00 noon - Fun House A morning of fun, games, crafts, bouncy castle, tuck shop and more, led mainly by some of the Power House Team. For a small admission fee, the kids enjoy a couple of hours packed with loads of great activities. Saturday, 7.30pm to 9.30pm - Youth Club Open to those in their final year of Primary School and upwards. Youth Club is organised by Gib Patterson and his Team, and includes football, badminton, Playstations, pool, darts, air hockey, table tennis, tuck shop etc. Mon to Fri, 6.30pm to 9.30pm and Mon, Wed & Fri, 9am to 11am - Elevate Fitness Gym FCC is quite unique in that it houses a self-contained gymnasium built-in downstairs in the Church building. Elevate Fitness Gym contains some of the best equipment found in the town. Phil Dunbar, who manages the Gym, has acquired and equipped the facility with state-of-the-art machines and free weights. The Gym features Sky TV, including the showing of live midweek football games. Annual membership and each individual session is very reasonably priced in comparison with many others gyms. |
